Another behind the scenes look while we take a brief hiatus, I'm thinking of starting the final chapter sometime mid November, so won't be too long, thanks for the patience!

It's easy and yet difficult to be patient. Easy because Buying Time is awesome. And difficult because Buying Time is awesome. But these sneak peaks and looks behind the curtains are a great distraction!

I absolutely agree.

They are definitely some of my favorite parts! I love the 'inside' look, you don't often get that.

Thanks glad you dig them, I hope to give the readers at least a little something during the break.

I feel exactly the same way :D

Wow, you just summed up how I feel about every awesome comic I've read ever.

Is it possible for a synthetic human to have children?
hotstuff1708 25th Oct 2015, 9:23 AM edit delete reply
In the 'Ask Fridge' bit, he says his balls don't actually function but that he has "enough donations down at the clinic to last a lifetime", so if he REALLY wanted kids, his partner could probably be artificially inseminated.

Yup, hotstuff knows their stuff.

So i know you had said that this chapter is the final one for the comic. I don't know if you have announced anything, but what is next after Buying Time?
Ä 26th Oct 2015, 2:36 AM edit delete reply
There was mention of another comic, but apparently it is vastly different from this one.
Notos 26th Oct 2015, 5:05 AM edit delete reply
Trying something that will use some parts of the BT format, but also be more of a standard comic that will allow for a print version, since a lot of people have asked for that.
As far as theme, sci-fi with a more action/survival theme. Cast of non-humans, think something like the races in Mass Effect or the alien characters from Green Lantern Corp.
bronakopdin 26th Oct 2015, 12:29 PM edit delete reply
I love the Dragon Age series and Mass Effect was made by Bioware, too, right?
I'm normally not much into shooters so I never tried it but if they made it similiar in matters of complicated nice stories and character interactions I might give it a try, can you recommand it?
Notos 26th Oct 2015, 1:57 PM edit delete reply
Yeah it's essentially Dragon Age in space. Or rather since it came first, DA is a fantasy ME. There is definitely more character interaction and world exploration than shooting bits. I enjoyed the first one a lot, lost interest halfway through the second, never played the third. I'd recommend trying the first at least.

ah ok. ty for letting me know. I love the animated elements of this comic, and while we don't have animated pictures like the Daily Prophet, I do hope it is one of the elements that makes it into the next one.

Mid November can't come fast enough. I love this comic.
justkeepondriving 27th Oct 2015, 7:50 PM edit delete reply
I smirked when you had a dig at your own comic ;)
Also, you know what's fine Fridge? Dat booty. Not sure if (or how) I missed that the first time round, but seeing something a second time is never boring, especially when the art is this good! I never tire of seeing all those neon lights :)
Notos 29th Oct 2015, 11:52 PM edit delete reply
Dat booty deserves a second look.
And I've always loved use of neon lights in anything, movies, games, comics, looks so cool.

Same! :)

I love this comic! I wish it didn't have to end so soon, but I'm super excited to see how everything will turn out. Will the next comic have romance in it? I feel like I can't get enough of your storytelling.
Notos 29th Oct 2015, 11:53 PM edit delete reply
It likely wont have romance but interaction between unlikely individuals will be a big theme. I'm drawing a lot of themes from sci fi stories like Enemy Mine.
