Lighting from below that gives everyone those weird shadow mustaches. Another character joins the cast!

Have to say, I wasn't expecting Galena's appearance to be so...scanty. Granted, with a name like Hot Legs, she wasn't likely to be in Disney style gowns, but it was an interesting surprise.

Slight note though: extremely minor detail, but the first top panel has Galena seemingly missing her glasses. Very odd. Otherwise, the scenes are very well actualized, and the first panel with the wide view is quite well drawn~ Definitely looking forwards to how this progresses.

Her outfit is a bit of a homage to Motoko Kusanagi, plus I figure it's only fair to add in some bits of female fanservice.

that last phrase that papa obari said was very funny and Galena "don´t corrupt vinnie" XD mmm i hope more details of the little set up that Galena and Papa Obari did for Vinnie, another nice update :D

The first scene when he walks into the club was fun to see. It reminded me of the old SNES Shadow Run game (with far better art).

The details are so great, on one TV it looks like there is a police action in progress, the other lost signal. Even the bar stool light up from the bottom.

Papa is a bit of a scamp, I can see how Galena's in good with him.

Really enjoying the comic world you've put together here!

Thanks! The bar establishing shot probably took longer than it should have, drawing background characters and crowds is easily the least favorite part for me..

I agree with Draginbeard, I really love the details in your comic ... even the changing colours behind the transparent p-comm in the last panel.
And I really like the different characters ... yeah, I LOVE your work! :)

Again with all the tiny details in the first panel! Man, I love that. DINO COP looks awesome! :D
Something else I wanted to mention was the pacing for the comic as a whole is absolutely perfect. Just keep doing what your doing. I love it!

Thanks, it pays to have bunch of random, unfinished animations I guess, I can always find a use for them as background eyecatchers

I really like the small details you put into the animations.

Haha I just love the banter between them.

That's her father? Wow. xD;
Notos 1st Jul 2013, 2:30 PM edit delete reply
He's an adoptive father of sorts, not biological.

I'm gonna have to add more praise to you for the visual details, and while I agree they're amazing, I'm even more amazed by the characters. Everyone so far is so unique and I can tell all of them are so intricately planned for. Super awesome.

Thanks, the comic wasn't originally going to have as many supporting characters but I'm glad I put them in there.

You're very good at creating unique characters. So far they've all been memorable and that's hard to do in a web comic with so many characters.

Also, I think your format works perfectly for this setting. There aren't many animated web comics like this that look so professionally done. It feels like a web comic from the future!

Thanks dude glad you think so! Took alot of playing to find the right mix, and I'm still getting (very useful) feedback from people

This story is really, really charming. You have a knack for realistic conversation, and the personalities so far are quite entertaining. ♥

Well a lot of people have mentioned it already but the little details in your comic really add life to the page. I'm gonna aspire to do more of that myself. It's really well done.

And I love how every character you've got has their own voice. That's really easier said than done, but you've really pulled it off.

If it wasn't for the more adult nature of the comic I'm sure it'd get mad exposure, like maybe even in the animation industry, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Still more people should read this comic.

Hey thanks! And yeah, the animation industry has been in a pretty weird state the past decade, very afraid to take risks outside of a few exceptions. Though that is the beauty of having something be entirely your own creation, you can do whatever you want, be as bold as you want, and an audience WILL find you. So far I think I've got a pretty rad group of people following the comic.

I love the comic in almost every aspect, but the hot legs sign in panel 3? Sorcery! I love how it seamlessly keeps animating, even as I'm clicking through the dialogue. That kind of attention to detail that really makes this comic feel super-professional (as if it didn't already) and just amazing.
Notos 24th Jul 2013, 1:07 PM edit delete reply
Thanks Monion, glad it runs well for you, I know the comic chugs quite a bit on mobile devices, I guess desktop PC's are the optimal viewing experiences.
Thanks for reading!

Man I love these characters, and the weird "shadow mustache from under-lighting" thing happening here.
