Some of you keener Autonoms may have noticed the Twitter link just above the comments section added yesterday; I've gotten a dozen requests for a BT Twitter, so there you have it! Baby steps into social media, you'll have to bear with me as I'm still a Twitter newbie, and not really sure what I should be posting. The extent of my Twitter experience is celebrities insulting each other and things like "I'm eating nachos, lolol!!#so zany" I suppose I'll update it with production news, maybe some sketches? I admit the idea of delving into social media while writting a comic about a future where there is hardly an escape from the connectivity of it all is a bit weird, but the fan's demanded it so let's give it a go! Though the best way to get in touch is still here in the comments.

Thanks so much to Saxony S. who donated this week!

Hiatus production is going well, faster than expected. I'll have a better idea of a hiatus schedule and will post it next week (and on the shiny new twitter).

cool sketches.
I always notice the difference in hand positions between the sketch and the final version, haha :)
oh and welcome to Twitter. I don't have one (I don't have the spare time to follow Kardashians) but sounds like a good move to promote the comic!
I'm personally finding it much easier to subscribe to BT with a RSS feed.

Yeah, the hands are what changes most often from rough to clean; I find a hand alone can make or break a pose, if you see a hand changes from the roughs its usually because I wasn't happy with how it worked with the entire pose, not just itself, if that makes sense..

And a pleasant Hiatus morning to you, Notos! I'm one of the newbies from YP; first I want to say again: thank you so much for your work!

Secondly - Never think you need to censor the hot smexy man-parts on /my/ account. >;-)

And finally - there aren't any spaces in hashtags; so "hashtag 'so zany'" would be typed "#sozany"- otherwise, it's just "#so". ^_~ Vm

I won't ever censor myself, this is mostly an elbow jab to Marvel and other comics that do. The final page will be censor free.
And thanks for the twitter tip, haha, goes to show how new I am at this.

Remember my request for Shunsuke if you don't censor! It would be nice to see at least one intact guy in the future!

Even on hiatus you're generous with your fanservice. <3
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 12:53 AM edit delete reply
Indeed. Why change during the hiatus ;)

Thanks for the censoring yourself 101 tidbits X°D
You might have hadded the ‘fellow's hand (or bodypart) slightly foreward’…
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 12:58 AM edit delete reply
Ah yes, another common one.
Draginbeard 22nd Jun 2014, 9:23 PM edit delete reply
heh, love the non-distracting censor examples. I use similar things early on as well.

The good ol' Austin Powers.

"Smoke for some reason" . Lol. You're a riot.
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 12:54 AM edit delete reply
It seems like the most commonly used one. Marvel's particular favorite, outside of sudden harsh shadows.
bronakopdin 23rd Jun 2014, 12:13 AM edit delete reply
that last page made my day xD

congrats on the twitter :)

I myself am no fan of social media and nearly never use it...
though I do have a twitter but never check it either, so I hope you'll just post the schedule here, too?

(of course you will, what a question xD)

nice to know you're coming along great in your hiatus :)
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 1:00 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, I'm not really into social media either, but I am into honoring reader requests so I'll give it a try! And yes, I'll post any updates here as well.

I'm finding fascinating with the rough to clean comparisons too - your roughs seem pretty solid in concept. Is that because you nut it all out before it gets roughed?
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 12:14 PM edit delete reply
Yeah there is usually 1 stage of 'really REALLY rough' before the stage you see here.

Ahh . . . We meet again, my old foe . . .

Censorship . . .

I think I'm not the only one, but so far I think I'm the only one who's asked...

Will we ever see the team in or out the hot tub?
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 12:16 PM edit delete reply
Hot tub specifically? We may if the story calls for it, for what it's worth, the censorship joke above is actually a rough for page 5, so you'll see them in the locker room, uncensored in the actual page.
Rauron 23rd Jun 2014, 8:45 AM edit delete reply
Finally caved in about Twitter, eh? Concept sketches sound cool, and I do like peeking into your skull, so I'm on board with this.

Censorship is... tolerable. I'll forgive you for it. In exchange, make Vinnie polyamorous and Galvin interested in an open relationship, so that Papa/Fridge/Silver Bolts/Big Gold can end up in the bedroom with them. All at once.

Wait, no, that's not fair... Galena is invited, too.
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 12:21 PM edit delete reply
Well, as I've mentioned it's just a bit of a joke, the actual page will not be censored so I guess that means I can't honor the exchange! Funny thing is Galena would probably agree to it faster than any of the other participants.
Rauron 24th Jun 2014, 5:04 AM edit delete reply
I know; I often read the other comments :p. That, and the potted plant is... a bit out of place. Just a bit.

I love the concept sketch idea! You could also consider a Patron account for stuff like that to make it more exclusive while getting donations per month or per update. Happy to occasionally give a donation as I can. Thanks for your comment regarding that. I'm glad it went through.
Notos 23rd Jun 2014, 6:58 PM edit delete reply
Hey thanks again Saxony! I'll be looking into Patreon during the hiatus, though I need to learn a lot more about it before I take the plunge, like if they accept rated R content, and how easy it would be to implement etc, I'm very tech inept.
AD 27th Jun 2014, 4:16 AM edit delete reply
Sorry to jump into this conversation randomly, but Patreon does allow adult content. Unfortunately, if they deem your work "pornography" they do not. Some of these qualifications seem a bit up in the air. (Such as, one of their no-nos is explicit sex scenes.)
They have the full information at the bottom of their FAQ: http://www.patreon.com/faq
Notos 27th Jun 2014, 12:08 PM edit delete reply
Thanks AD, I'll look into it further, I'm not very comfortable with wishy washy content rules like that. A big part of it is going to be how easy it is to implement.
Mykle1616 26th Jun 2014, 4:18 AM edit delete reply
Notos, you continue to amaze me. As a reader of Menage3, Sticky Dilly Buns, and Sandra On The Rocks, I've gotten a taste of seeing "roughs" posted sometimes in place of the "finished" goods...and oddly enough, I seem to like them better. I love Hiatiis time for the fact I get to see more of the goods you create, before the finale is applied to it. As a non-artistic person, seeing truly talented people such as yourself do the things you do just leaves me in awe.
Notos 26th Jun 2014, 2:40 PM edit delete reply
Hey Mykle, thanks for the comment! Glad you're enjoying the hiatus stuff, I used to be pretty uptight about showing roughs and unfinished work, posting it right next to the finished product helps ;)
